Welcome

Hello! I'm Nichole. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in South Florida.

In 2018 I started working in mental health, taking on various roles through a variety of environments. My experience has helped me learn how to competently adapt to each person’s lens and attune to their needs.

Earning my Bachelor of Social Work at Western Carolina University and my Master of Social Work at Temple University, equipped me with clinical skills to assess my clients through an integrated approach that values the whole person, their environment, social and economic factors, and of course their health.

I have dedicated my career to helping individuals find balance, achieve their personal goals, and navigate life's challenges. My commitment is to provide a supportive and empathetic environment for all my clients.

My best work

I work well with those in need of support with stress- and trauma-related issues, living with and chronic mental health diagnosis.

I welcome the opportunity to work with clients facing diverse challenges. If I believe we're not the best fit after an initial consultation, I will ensure you're referred to a trusted provider within my network.

My Approach

I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, considering the whole person and their unique experiences. My practice is grounded in empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude. I utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and integrating body-based techniques, to tailor my sessions to meet the specific needs of each client.

Supporting people living with severe mental illness has been foundational to my trauma-informed, multicultural practice.

What to Expect

In our sessions, you can expect a safe, confidential space where you can express yourself freely. My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights you need to lead a more fulfilling and resilient life. Together, we will work on building coping strategies, enhancing self-awareness, and fostering personal growth.

My style honors the harmful effects that the systems we navigate each day can have on all of us. We can explore ways to cope with stress related to our political landscape and navigate strategies for resilience together.

My Background

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Temple University. My experience spans working with diverse populations, from rural Appalachia to urban Philadelphia. I’ve had the privilege of working with high-income clients in private treatment centers and individuals from low-income backgrounds using public-funded resources to grow.
